PEOPLE can’t help but stare when Vlada Kazimirchuk is holding one of these bouquets.

It happens during this photoshoot at Ballaboosta, where Vlada catches the attention of cheesemaker and Ferment Festival organiser Kris Lloyd who is sitting at a table nearby.

“I’ve seen these around, they are gorgeous,” Lloyd says, impressed.

Walking around the city with these bouquets of flowers, fruit and veg are proving to be the best kind of promotion for Vlada, who has been selling the three-kilo creations under the name Lunch Bunch for the past month.

After sending Lloyd off with a business card, the Russian-born woman admits the positive response to the business has been overwhelming.

“The idea came from Russia ... it went viral two years ago and now these edible arrangements are everywhere,” she says.

”I thought, why don’t we make this in Adelaide?

“I made a huge one for my daughter and dropped her in the city to meet a friend and she said ‘you would not believe it, mum, all these people were stopping to ask me where I bought it’.

“It was quite a cool promotion.”

The former interior designer, who came to Adelaide in 1999, sources produce from places such as the Hahndorf Fruit & Veg Market and The Organic Market Cafe in Stirling.

Bouquets must be ordered three days in advance and can be either delivered or collected for free from city locations Ballaboosta and Samantha Ruby Artistry.

Kazimirchuk, who says the washed fruit and veg should be consumed within 48 hours due to the sticks that pierce the skins, is hoping to start bouquet-arranging workshops in a city location and launch the business interstate.
