All ingredients are handpicked and purchased every morning from our local markets and suppliers, so when they are delivered, they are all fresh and cooled down, this is the best time to enjoy them, otherwise please read below on how to get the best out from your yummy bouquets, if you need to hold them for a bit longer:
*Chocolate covered strawberries shall be eaten within 2 days after being delivered. Don't keep them in the fridge as the chocolate will get wet and sticky. The best temperature for chocolate is 16 degrees in a dry place. Don't leave them in a car, on sunlight or next to a heating device.
**Bouquets with Chocolate bars, cookies and waffles, Zeppoles and Meringues should be eaten within 2-3 days (if not eaten at once, keep in an airtight container in a refrigerator for up to 3days, but keep them separate, so they don't absorb moisture from other ingredients)
***Bouquets with berries, fruits and vegetables could be kept in a fridge for up to 2-4 days, except strawberries (they last less depending on the weather season they've been picked)
****Meat and Cheese bouquets shall be kept in the fridge and enjoyed within 2-3days
*****Dried fruits and nuts shall be kept in a dry cool place, not in a fridge though. These type of bouquets could be kept for months, they would look great all this time as a centrepiece and still be ok to eat. (But of cause if there are insects in the house or too much dust, don't keep it that long and, if you decide to do so, don't eat it, if you see something is not right)
******All our flowers and herbs are installed with some water supply inside of the bouquets, but in hots days some plants and flowers drink much more, so when you disassemble the bouquet, please refill them and you can enjoy your flowers for longer.
This is the reason, we believe that the best way would be that you actually tell your loved ones that there is a delivery coming with a surprise and make sure they are at the address for the delivery. You don't need to tell them what it is, we wouldn't either, but make sure that they know its coming. Otherwise, this surprise could be spoiled, as we take the bunch to their neighbours or have to leave it outside, the recipient might not be there on time to eat the yummy Edible Bouquet.
Please don't forget to read the Delivery page here.
PS: Common sense is the best judgment for these, if the weather is too hot - don't keep it in a space without an air conditioner. If you are camping or have an outdoor party - don't leave it for too long for ants and bugs to attack.
